Looking after your wellbeing

As we head back to a nearly normal life, whilst living with Covid-19, we’re on a mission to help our clients.

The statistics are worrying:

  •  People with Type 2 Diabetes have experienced deteriorating glycaemic control and weight gain.
  • 41% of children reported feeling more stressed about schoolwork and exams.
  • The UK’s death rate from cancer could rise for the first time in decades according to 47 charities.

With this in mind, we wanted to let you know how the team at FOCUS can help you and your family.

If you were diagnosed with a medical condition, would you want access to a second opinion from a specialist?

According to recent studies some patients claimed to have waited longer than two weeks to see their GP. You’ll be pleased to know that your insurance policy could allow you access to a 24/7 virtual GP, 365 days a year. Furthermore, the 24/7 GP service may be able to issue private prescriptions. Easing your wait time to get professional help.

If you needed treatment, would you want access to the best care and medications – even if they were not available on the NHS?

The world is a big place, in fact, the surface area of the world is 197 million square miles! Within the world, you could get access to global treatment (subject to assessment) for your condition if no treatment is available in the UK.

Furthermore, if you require a second medical opinion service from some of the best medical professionals for your condition which is not available through the NHS, this service could be available to you.

Whether you have an insurance policy or not, get in touch and we can help.

It’s okay not be okay, if you need treatment from a mental health professional do you need it now?

Yes, your insurance policy could allow you access to a professional psychologist. Helping you live a healthy and balanced lifestyle in association with nutritional advice and a fitness plan.

Even if you have an underlying mental health disclosure, we can help.

If your children needed treatment, would you like them to get the help they need?

Yes, they could be up to the age of 22 (depending on the insurance provider).

Worryingly, everyday 43 children are diagnosed with cancer.

Ensuring that you have access to a specialist that can help as well as having the correct cover in place to cover a serious illness for a child is paramount.
