10 things I’ve learned whilst running a social enterprise with Georgina Atwell of Toppsta

Georgina launched the children’s book review website https://toppsta.com six years ago after running the ebook business for iTunes for 5 years.

Running a business, which was essentially ‘literacy’ but without charitable grants, was always going to be challenging but she wanted to be free from the form filling and reporting which can come with grant funding.

6 years later Toppsta is financially independent, with a thriving online community (140,000 unique visitors every month) and is helping thousands of children discover a love of books.

Georgina shares her 10 key lessons from setting up a social enterprise.
