Your Introduction to the World of Business (Episode 2)
Your Introduction to the World of Business gives businesses the opportunity to broaden the horizons of their future employees, and for students to learn more and ask questions about the world of business.
Original event took place on 26th May 2021.
B4 and Europa School UK have set up this webinar to provide students with an insight into the world of business.
During this 30 minute session you will hear from:
Melissa Noton, Founder of 4Thought, who will be talking about resilience / self belief – Making decisions about exams and future careers, what to look for, how to find and trust your instincts, how to keep going, and exam stress – Why you get it, which bits help you, what to do to reduce excess stress & tips on applying for jobs.
Emma Easton, Chief Bolloxologist at Business Bollox®, who will talk about how you can build a fun and fruitful career and be prepared and ready to pivot when you need to. Having worked as an award-winning designer; then overseeing early web projects and having run her own successful businesses, in events, in marketing, an even sleep… The career plan you make today, might not be what you do tomorrow… and it’s exciting!
Clara, Year 11 Student at Europa School, who will talk about her passion for sustainability and what she looks for in an employer but also how employers are responding to and seeking out the opinions of their future employees. Do you have a passion that you would like to share or something you feel that the businesses of Oxfordshire should know about? Clara will tell you how she spoke to businesses in Oxfordshire at the B4 House Meet and you could have this opportunity too.
