Digital Inclusion

Digital exclusion is not just a Covid-19 issue! However, the pandemic has highlighted that lack of online access is a serious issue that limits people’s life chances and wellbeing. As we come out of lockdown, we must not lose focus on this ongoing problem.

Digital access is needed for so many aspects of life, from education, to job applications, to making an appointment with the doctor, or staying in touch with family and friends.

In this session, you will hear from a range of contributors about the impact of digital exclusion and the benefits of having online access, whatever your age. During the session, we will look at what has helped so far; what the Getting Oxfordshire Online initiative aims to do; and how your organisation can support the initiative.
