In this instalment of the “At The Sharp End” podcast series, host Frank Nigriello chats to David Grayson CBE, one of the country’s leading experts on responsible business.

David will be talking about how SMEs can address the issues around climate change while improving their businesses at a free lecture in the Unipart Conference Centre on 11th July at 6pm.

Professor David Grayson CBE is Emeritus Professor of Corporate Responsibility at Cranfield and is one of the authors of a new book called The Sustainable Business Handbook, designed to be a comprehensive, practical guide for business leaders aiming to improve the key levers of business success. The book has been called the go-to manual for how to future proof your business and a practical guide to transforming companies for the challenges of the 21st Century.

David Grayson has had a thirty-year career as a social entrepreneur and campaigner for responsible business, diversity, and small business development. This included founding Project North East which has now worked in nearly 60 countries around the world; being the founding CEO of the Prince’s Youth Business Trust and serving as a managing director of Business in the Community. David has an Honorary Doctorate of Law from London South Bank University and was a visiting Senior Fellow at the CSR Initiative of the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard (2005-10).
