Maymessy mentoring women from Refugee Resource

Maymessy mentoring 11 ladies from the charity Refugee Resource into a food business.

Maymessy is thrilled to have been given a grant from People Health Trust funded by People’s Health Trust using money raised by Health Lottery South East.

We will support 11 ladies from the charity Refugee Resource to help them start a food business.  We have just had our first session and so many brilliant ideas from frozen food, to samosa street food , a charity event and hibiscus juice bar.

Souad said  “Its my dream to set up small shop with take away dishes selling soups and biscuits”.
We cant wait to make that dream come true!

This is a 2 year funded project and cant wait to support them.  We have some skilled ladies already running their business to support them and up first is  the very talented Daisy Pratt talking about her cake business at Maymessy in June. www.veryvanilla.co.uk/
