Leaders Lunch at RH England

Last week, B4 had the pleasure of hosting a private event for nine guests at one of Oxfordshire’s most remarkable destinations – RH England, The Gallery at the Historic Aynho Park.

The experience began in true style, with drinks on the terrace, basking in the late-summer sunshine. Against the backdrop of RH England’s beautiful grounds, we were treated to sweeping views across the parkland, home to the estate’s now-iconic herd of white deer. It was a breathtaking setting that immediately set the tone for a memorable afternoon of conversation, connection, and inspiration.

What makes RH England so unique is not just its stunning location, but the way in which it has been reimagined to create a space that is both a destination and an experience. Restoration Hardware England boasts more than 60 rooms, offering an experience that seamlessly merges the finest luxury home furnishings from Restoration Hardware Interiors, Contemporary, Modern and Outdoor collections with a collection of rare art, antiques, and artifacts sourced from around the globe. It’s a harmonious blend of past and present.

Our guests were captivated by the sense of discovery that unfolds as you move through the property. Each room and gallery offers its own distinctive mood and aesthetic, showcasing the best of RH’s design ethos while honouring the rich history of Aynho Park. To explore the sumptuous private rooms and suites on the upper levels, you ascend grand staircases that pay tribute to Aynho’s previous owners, James and Sophie Perkins – a nod to the heritage that continues to shape this extraordinary place.

What became clear throughout the afternoon is that RH England is not just a showroom for exquisite design – it is also a world-class venue for entertaining. Whether you are hosting a private dinner, an intimate roundtable, or a large-scale corporate gathering, the setting lends itself effortlessly to creating something truly special. The mix of grandeur, warmth, and attention to detail ensures that guests leave with lasting memories.

A huge part of the success of our event was down to the exceptional hospitality team, led by Lewis Johnson, Hospitality Leader at RH England. From the moment we arrived, Lewis and his team looked after us with absolute professionalism, charm, and care. Nothing was too much trouble, and the service throughout was a seamless complement to the elegance of the surroundings. On behalf of all our guests, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Lewis and his team for making the afternoon so memorable.

Looking ahead, RH continues its remarkable journey of redefining luxury destinations around the world. On 5th September, RH opened its new Paris location, bringing its unique vision of design and lifestyle to another of Europe’s most iconic cities. For us, RH England provided not only a stunning venue, but also a reminder of the power of extraordinary settings to elevate conversation and connection. It is a place to savour, to explore, and to return to again and again. I certainly know that B4 will be returning soon so if you are a business leader and would like to join us for a future event, please do get in touch.

Thank you to our guests Olga Kozlova (University of Oxford), Gavin Jones (Planet IT), Andre Vaux (aura), Ben Procter (Oxford Property Consulting), Ben Dudley (ODS Group), Susannah Morgan (Energy PR), Sarah Jaycock (HS Composites), Salim Benadel (Storm Internet) and Justin Merritt (Oxford City FC and Ignite Sport UK).
