Blake Morgan announces four new partner promotions
Leading law firm Blake Morgan has announced the promotion of four lawyers to Partner across the Thames Valley, South Coast and Wales.
Their promotions reflect their expertise and continued commitment to providing first-class legal solutions to their clients as well as their ongoing work to support Blake Morgan’s growth aspirations and commercial success.
Today’s promotions include Elisabeth Bell, Dominic Jones and George Panteli from the Thames Valley and Joanne Thompson who works across Cardiff and the South Coast.
Elisabeth is part of Blake Morgan’s commercial team and has worked with clients across the public, private and third sectors to provide advice on a wide range of commercial legal issues and contractual arrangements. She specialises in the fields of IT, data protection and commercial contracts and is listed in the 2020 Legal 500 directory.
Dominic is a specialist in construction and engineering contracts and related disputes. He’s part of the construction team in the Thames Valley, which was ranked as tier 1 in the 2020 Legal 500 directory
George is a property and real estate specialist. His specific focus is within the offices, industrial and retail sectors where he advises a range of clients in relation to acquisitions, disposals and non-contentious landlord and tenant matters. George was listed as a rising star in the tier 1 listed commercial property team in the 2020 Legal 500 directory.
Joanne works in the commercial litigation team covering Wales and the South Coast. Joanne specialises in procurement challenges, commercial and contractual disputes, post-completion and corporate disputes, professional negligence and partnership disputes. Like George, Joanne was listed as a rising star in the tier 1 commercial litigation team in the 2020 Legal 500 directory.
Mike Wilson, Managing Partner, said: “We’re delighted to be making these promotions. All four are exceptionally talented lawyers who have played a critical role in helping to position their practice areas – and the firm as a whole – as a leading authority. They can all provide expert insight and advice in a meaningful and accessible way and they’re held in high regard by clients and colleagues alike.
“I’d like to offer my congratulations to them all and look forward to continuing to work with them in their new roles.”
