A Magical Day in Paradise

Following a Veuve Clicquot champagne reception, guests made their way to Le Manoir’s stunning private dining room, La Belle Époque….and then back outside again for an iconic group photo in front of the globally renowned Michelin-starred restaurant.

A three-course meal to delight all of the senses followed, served with grace and faultless attention to detail – thank you Jade and all of your colleagues, both front of house and those working tirelessly in the kitchen.

Director of Sales, Jamie Purcell, welcomed guests and explained how important it was for Le Manoir to be part of the B4 community and connect with so many fantastic businesses. “The lunch last Wednesday was a wonderful opportunity to welcome fellow B4 members to our countryside home, Le Manoir. There were some fantastic conversations taking place over great food and wine, what more could you want on a sunny afternoon? We hope to see the attendees returning to Le Manoir in the foreseeable future. Thank you B4 for working with us to ensure the successful running of the event.”

Kate Parrinder of Oxfordshire Community Foundation and fellow B4 Platinum Member, Emma Allinson of Kingerlee, then raised a staggering £760 for Raise’25 by selling raffle tickets which were won by Danielle Simpson, Helen Fallon and Alexandra Rae. Thank you to Le Manoir, Phil Lewis of The Randolph and Rachel Hicks and Andrew Parsons of Skywave for generously donating some stunning prizes.

Kate commented. “Raise’25 promises to be a fun and inspiring collective fundraising experience for all involved. People in the business community can sign up to fundraise in whatever way they would like over the next eight months, with an ambitious target of £50k or just £500 per person, which will be held by Oxfordshire Community Foundation and shared between ten different amazing local charities. These causes support local people from cradle to grave, from helping young carers navigate life, to promoting community pubs, to funding hospice care – and everything in between.
