The University of Oxford Joins B4
The University of Oxford has recognised B4, one of Oxfordshire’s leading business-to-business networks in B4’s 20th anniversary year by becoming a Platinum Member. The partnership highlights the strength of B4’s community which includes some of Oxfordshire’s most respected organisations.
The University will also sponsor B4’s flagship event, the Oxfordshire Business Summit, returning to Blenheim Palace on 15th May 2026 following the success of its inaugural event in 2025.
Connecting with established business communities like B4 is a key part of the University’s strategy. It launched Equitable Innovation Oxford – Equinox, on 10 November 2025 at Rhodes House.
Equinox brings together universities, local leaders, government, industry, investors and communities to act as the region’s single united voice to champion inclusive and equitable innovation and socially responsible economic growth. It aims to accelerate innovation-led growth, foster a more connected and inclusive economy, and strengthen the region’s investment potential.
Equinox is looking to launch programmes that will drive investment into the region, take collective action to address scale-up needs and target the issues that hinder the realisation of Oxfordshire as a globally leading innovation destination.
Dr Olga Kozlova, Director of Innovation and Engagement at the University of Oxford, said: “Joining B4, an established and leading business network in Oxfordshire, will help strengthen our connections with the business community. Our relationship with this community will be crucial as we develop Equinox. We look forward to building valuable relationships across this thriving network and supporting the summit this year.”
Richard Rosser, CEO of B4, added: “Being recognised by a globally respected institution such as the University of Oxford is a real feather in our cap. It reflects the calibre of our members and the collaborative spirit of our network. We are excited to work closely with the University and the Equinox team in the months ahead.”
