Arlo, Tomás, and Alyssa play Mario Kart
Read about three fantastic young gamers with cerebral palsy who are now enjoying the Mario Kart buzz after our specialist assessment team unlocked ways for them to play independently on the Nintendo Switch for the very first time. Arlo, Tomás, and Alyssa are all racing with adapted gaming controller setups that include a joystick and two-button switches, but there’s far more involved in the selection of the equipment than meets the eye. ArchieBot featured on Sky Kids FYI
It’s Archiebot! Archie and our BubbleBuster project featured on the Sky Kids news programme FYI recently. We worked with his family and school to enable him to join in with his lessons from home via a telepresent robot.
“Archie and his class called it ‘Archiebot’,” said his mum. “It’s a great way for him to talk to his classmates and teacher.”
