Bl Claims Solicitors Incorporated Into Blake Morgan Llp
Blake Morgan LLP has today announced it has incorporated specialist compensation claims team BL Claims Solicitors into the firm.
Specialising in personal injury, clinical negligence, travel accidents and illness claims across the country, BL Claims Solicitors were already part of the Blake Morgan legal services group, following the merger of Blake Lapthorn and Morgan Cole in 2014.
Due to legislative restrictions at the time of merger the firm maintained a separate entity to protect existing clients who risked being penalised by transferring their agreements to another firm. Following the successful conclusion of these cases, the team have today been welcomed into the Blake Morgan family. Under the leadership of Alison McClure, Divisional Director of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, they will continue to ensure that existing and new clients who have been impacted by personal injury, clinical negligence, accidents or illnesses abroad continue to receive the compensation they deserve to help them on the often difficult road to recovery.
Commenting on the change in structure, Alison McClure, said:
“We’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved trading as BL Claims Solicitors and the fantastic reputation we’ve built up as one of the top firms in the UK for handling compensation claims. We are excited to finally be able to bring our BL Claims Solicitors operations under the Blake Morgan banner, and to be able to do this with no impact on our clients, current cases or employees. The same people will work on our cases and will provide the same services, on the same terms, just through a different entity.”
The Blake Morgan legal services group has offices in London, on the South Coast, in the Thames Valley and Wales. The group’s 130 partners and 1,000 employees maintain a strong, commercial and personable approach and have a broad and deep capability across a full range of legal services. The group’s public and private sector clients range from multi-national companies through Government agencies and charities, owner-managed businesses and private individuals.
As well as helping individuals claim the compensation they deserve for personal injury, clinical negligence and accidents or illness abroad, the Blake Morgan group’s work for private individuals includes wills and inheritance planning, tax and trusts, residential property, family law, Court of Protection and travel litigation.
