Whitley Stimpson ranked as top UK accountancy firm
The Top 50+50 Accountancy Firms 2021 has been revealed and Whitley Stimpson has been officially ranked within the Top 100 firms in the UK for the eighth year running.
The rankings by the prestigious Accountancy Age 50+50 survey collate the top 100 accountancy firms in the UK and identifies Whitley Stimpson as a leading player in the country. To achieve the national honor, Whitley Stimpson’s revenue and growth were measured against accounting firms throughout the country.
Jonathan Walton, director at Whitley Stimpson explained: “We‘re delighted to have been ranked within this year’s Top 100 list despite the spate of new entrants. This ranking acknowledges our work for a wide variety of private and business clients and it’s thanks to our clients and colleagues that we continue to be a leading independent accounting firm. Such achievements come down to a team effort with staff contributing directly to the firm’s direction as they themselves develop and progress.
”Barriers for growth in the coming year will relate to staffing as although we have recently employed a further six recruits, we still have vacancies to fill which in the current climate is challenging. We have an award winning training program and are a company with a great future which you can be part of, so I would urge anyone interested in a career in accountancy to contact our HR department. For more experienced staff, look on our website where you will find details of all our current vacancies”
Accountancy Age also gathers information on other key aspects of each firm, including the number of female partners vs male partners, investment in technology, BAME representation and other factors. The data is used to provide a detailed snapshot of the industry, which we can compare with the previous year‘s findings, with a research report based off the findings to follow shortly. The report is recognized as the UK’s most comprehensive breakdown of accountancy sector performance.
Whitley Stimpson, which has offices in Banbury, Bicester, High Wycombe and Witney, has been providing financial advice to businesses and individuals for over 90 years.
