Moorcrofts LLP advises Skillweb.co.uk Ltd. on the sale of its Houndit business
Moorcrofts’ corporate team has advised Skillweb.co.uk Ltd. (Skillweb), a leading UK based software development and solutions company, on the sale of its “Houndit” business to Escher Software Services UK Limited (part of Hanover Investors private equity group).
The “Houndit” business creates leading-edge cloud-based delivery solutions for the package and postal sector. Skillweb will continue to develop and operate its “SmartTask” business which also creates leading-edge cloud-based software solutions in relation to workforce management optimisation which is used in a range of business sectors.
The Moorcrofts team was led by Nicola Bennett (Corporate Partner), with support from Tim Astley (Tech & IP Partner), Lindsey Abbott (Employment Solicitor) and Heather Stewart (Corporate Solicitor).
