Moorcrofts advises Angel & Rocket Limited on cross border investment
Moorcrofts LLP has recently advised Angel & Rocket Limited (“A&R”) on the company’s investment round by an Indian fashion conglomerate.
A&R was founded in 2014, a family business launched by Kate Bostock and her husband, Neil. Since then they have gone from strength-to-strength and established a strong and recognisable brand of on-trend children’s clothing.
The acquirer is a leading clothing manufacturer and exporter in India. Its investment will bring the A&R branding to India as well as allow for expansion to its existing operations in the UK and the rest of the world.
Moorcrofts’ corporate partner, Teri Hunter, led the deal with support from Mohsin Shabbir. Commercial contract support provided by Tim Astley and employment support provided by Lindsey Abbott.
Kate Bostock said: “The investment will allow us to build upon our reputation in the industry and continue to grow. We are grateful to Teri and her team who provided us with clear commercial advice and helped us reach a successful completion”.
Teri Hunter said: “We have known Kate and Neil for a number of years and it was a pleasure to assist with this investment in the Company. We wish them the best of luck for their future”.
