ODS (Oxford Direct Services Limited) is a Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) wholly owned by Oxford City Council. Formally established in 2018, ODS brings together the Council’s frontline operational services, delivering high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for residents, businesses, schools, universities, and other organisations across Oxfordshire. Supporting over 2,000 businesses and 150,000 residents in Oxford, we combine commercial expertise with public sector values to create real community impact.
Our extensive portfolio includes construction and building maintenance, waste and recycling, highways and civil engineering, fleet management, environmental cleansing, and the management of parks, trees, cemeteries, and open spaces. All profits are reinvested into Oxford City Council to protect and enhance essential local services.
