Moorcrofts strengthen its corporate team with new partner appointment
Moorcrofts is delighted to announce a new senior appointment in its corporate team, as associate Will Pearce becomes partner.
Will joined the firm in 2012 and since then has had high levels of exposure to complex matters; predominantly working alongside Teri Hunter, whilst on a designated partner program for the past 18 months. He now manages his own caseload and acts on a wide variety of transactions for individual and corporate clients, based both in the UK and abroad, including public companies (many of which are listed on AIM and similar markets). In particular, Will specialises in company acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations, investments, fundraisings, shareholders agreements and corporate governance matters.
On his appointment, Will, said: “I’m delighted to be joining the partnership. Moorcrofts has experienced great success and I’ve seen the business continue to progress each year. I’m proud to be part of such a driven team, enthusiastic to deliver excellent outcomes for our clients, and I look forward to contributing to the development of the business.”
In 2017, Will advised on a number of high level million-pound deals, including the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Energy Auditing Agency Limited and sale of the business and assets of Smart Space Strategy Limited to a United States based purchaser.
Teri Hunter, CFO and Head of Corporate, Moorcrofts added: “Will has delivered great results, providing strong expertise and a dedicated approach since his arrival at the firm 6 years ago. This coupled with excellent client feedback and the development of strong longstanding relationships, becoming partner has been a natural progression for Will.
