Corporate Law Firm, Moorcrofts is launching its own legal podcast – Moorcrofts Means Business, which will see its partners and highly regarded lawyers, as well as a range of industry leaders discuss legal topics to help companies run their businesses as efficiently as possible.
International fleet telematics company, Masternaut, was developing a technological solution for insurers which included claim management and fraud detection services. Their plan was to integrate standard telematics equipment with a hosted Software-as-a-Service application and an end-user app for drivers. They worked with a specialist developer/supplier which was to receive ‘milestone payments’ as certain technological milestones were reached.
Work continues to rapidly shift. A few years ago, technologies and innovations like big data, AI, machine learning, Blockchain and cloud were relatively unknown, yet today they’re ubiquitous, and with recent events, essential.

1. Having left a firm after 20 years and joining Freeths during lockdown, you might think that this could pose a unique set of problems. Charitable and social initiatives: Despite being physically separated, the Freeths Charity and Social Committee has been extremely active; we have kept the Freeths community spirit high through organising a variety of virtual social initiatives such as Zoom quizzes, Microsoft Teams lunches and a firm-wide monthly book club!
1. Creating a viewing experience when we had no ability (or permission, by order of the government) to actually view. We set out creating video tours for all of our instructions and we encourage our clients to opt for our 3D Virtual Tours which we create using Matterport – these provide online users with an interactive online viewing experience, where the customer is in control of the viewing.
