Astroscale Ltd, the UK subsidiary of Astroscale Holdings, is a company with a mission to secure safe and sustainable long-term development of space for the benefit of future generations.
Astroscale was founded in 2013 by CEO Nobu Okada and now has offices in Tokyo, Harwell, Singapore, Denver and Tel Aviv. Its founder and employees are passionate about solving this growing environmental concern and want to address the issue with a business mindset. Astroscale has recently completed a series ‘E’ round of funding bringing the total capital raised to $191 US million and now has over 100 staff globally.
Astroscale’s vision is to develop innovative technologies, advance the business case, and inform the international policies that lead to a reduction in orbital debris and support long-term, sustainable utilization of space.
