About

Edward studied Archaeology at the University of Leicester and worked in manufacturing engineering for three years after, before moving to Bournemouth and Poole College in 2012. Focusing on supporting groups of accounting apprentices and employer engagement work linked with the College’s Peter Jones Enterprise Academy.

Edward moved to Oxfordshire to join Abingdon & Witney College in 2014 as a Business Development Executive and has taken on various roles in management since then, all linked in with apprenticeships and employer engagement, also spending three years managing the Marketing team. More recently, Edward has undertaken an MBA with Oxford Brookes University.

Local MP Charlie Maynard visits Abingdon & Witney College’s Witney campus

Abingdon & Witney College welcomed local MP Charlie Maynard to its Witney campus on 27th March, where he met with Principal and Chief Executive Jacqui Canton and Deputy Principal Jo Milsom, and toured a number of teaching areas. The visit formed part of ongoing discussions about skills, education, and the needs of young people and employers across West Oxfordshire.

Abingdon & Witney College launches new Net Zero Skills Hub

Abingdon & Witney College opened their new Net Zero Skills Hub last week, with a launch event at their Abingdon campus. Attended by over 60 employers and stakeholders including those from the construction, building, building services and sustainability industries, the event was an exciting opportunity to view the new training centre and to hear from experts about the importance of training for solving the climate emergency.
