Good news for vegans and vegan curious people everywhere – VegfestUK is back!
The UK’s biggest indoor vegan event returns after a hiatus of 3 years to live events with a huge fiesta of all things vegan at The Grand Olympia London this autumn.
With the impressive growth of plant based options across all sectors – including restaurants, catering, hospitality, travel, retail, wholesale, food manufacturing and distribution – VegfestUK is set to be the busiest one yet.
Vegan businesses, charities and campaigns especially are set to benefit from the presence of an anticipated 15,000 vegan hungry visitors this coming autumn, and many exhibitors are already chomping at the bit to get back to the live event arena – and for some, it’s a first time.
‘We are seeing a lot of early interest from vegan businesses set up during the first lockdown of 2020’ note the organisers VegfestUK ‘and it’s heartening to see such a hunger and a growth. Vegan businesses especially benefit from live events like ours, be that for sales, for marketing, for branding, for market research, for networking, connecting with influencers, movers, shakers, traders and market leaders, as well as enormous social media potential – and that all important emerging aspect of data capture.
Live events can help springboard fledgling vegan businesses especially, and are essential for those already placed, and looking to support their sales in retail. There are so many benefits to live events, and it’s not surprising that bookings for the event are brisk already.’
Vegan businesses are indeed a main focus of the 2022 event, with a dedicated area for vegan business start-ups hosted by Vegan Business Tribe, with panels of experts on all aspects of scaling up and sustaining growth and development with a vegan business.
As well as an expected 300 + exhibitors, there is a whole range of other areas and features focusing on all aspects of vegan and plant based living.
Charities and campaigns are also an essential part of the VegfestUK setup, and especially this year as the event coincides with #Cop27.
‘The emphasis is on sustainability’ acknowledge the organisers ‘and we are seeing a lot of new sustainable packaging options from exhibitors.
It’s a real drive and of course the science is firmly behind the benefits of plant based diets for the environment. VegfestUK London is the ideal place to witness this transformation, and we are very happy to support and platform a number of campaigns and charities that share the same goals.’
The website https://london.vegfest.co.uk is now live for bookings for exhibitors, and tickets for the event are on sale in the autumn.
