A big story has just come out of COP26, and reported by the BBC, that UK firms will soon be forced to show how they will hit net zero.

Comment from Anthony Baker, Founder & CEO for Satellite Vu comments:
“It’s encouraging to see the UK establish proactive measures to ensure companies demonstrate a tangible effort to reach a more sustainable low-carbon future.
However, from the perspective of the private sector, incorporating such drastic and inherent changes to their operations in order to achieve these government-enforced targets can be daunting. A vast majority of companies in the UK do not want to be seen as ‘greenwashing’, nor do they want to maintain environmentally damaging operations, but understanding the physical measures that actually need to be put in place to meet climate change targets can be difficult.
“Fortunately, there are a number of third party and independent technology solutions and advisory services available to provide businesses with unbiased and actionable insight to assess their environmental credentials, and understand the steps needed to improve performance in this area.”

Fostering a Workplace Culture with Claire Croft
B4 Members gathered at B4 HQ for a thought-provoking session with culture specialist and B4 Platinum Member, Claire Croft, exploring what it really takes to build a workplace where people and business deliver meaningful impact. From the outset, Claire reframed “culture” away from perks and gimmicks—“bean bags and beer fridges” don’t make a culture—and toward the everyday decisions, behaviours, and systems that shape how work gets done.
