Comms Design Ltd Appointed as Official UK Distributor for Funkwerk Safety Radios

Comms Design, a Unipart company specialising in electronic product development, has been appointed as the official UK distributor for the Funkwerk range of safety radios, expanding access to advanced, safety-critical communication solutions for the rail and industrial sectors.

Funkwerk Systems GmbH is a leading provider of professional radio communication technologies, recognised for its robust GSM-R terminals designed specifically for demanding railway environments. The portfolio includes the latest focX® handheld safety radio, developed to meet stringent European railway standards and deliver reliable performance in harsh operational conditions.

Under the new agreement, Comms Design will manage all UK sales, order fulfilment and customer support for the Funkwerk safety radio range, offering customers a local point of contact and dedicated expertise.
