Family-favourite Italian restaurant offers take-away and delivery service
Award-winning pizza and pasta dishes to be available for collection or delivery from Mamma Mia in Summertown.
OXFORD, OXFORDSHIRE – In response to the Coronavirus epidemic, Mamma Mia Pizzeria in Summertown, Oxford are reducing their operating hours and offering a service focused on take-away and delivery.
The family-favourite restaurant will be open from 5pm-9pm Monday to Friday, and 12pm – 9pm at weekends. Customers can call to place their orders for collection, or book online for delivery from Deliveroo.
The second Mamma Mia restaurant in Oxford’s Jericho area has been closed fully until further notice, as too has The Perch in Binsey, a centuries old pub and restaurant operated by the same independent restaurant group.
Owner Jon Ellse said “This is a truly challenging and unprecedented time that is undoubtedly affecting us all. We’ve worked with our staff and customers to find the best way that we can be of service to our local community, whilst minimising any risks to health, and feel a restricted hours take-away and delivery service is the best option. As government advice changes we will continue to monitor the situation, but hope to be able to remain open as long as we are able to. It’s incredibly sad to have to close our Jericho restaurant as we consolidate but we’re heartened by the response of our customers who have been so supportive – We will be back in full swing as soon as we’re encouraged to do so…”
