A testament to their commitment and dedication to both Wellers and their clients, Tom Walker, Beth Whitmore and Ben Brookes will take on the role of Associate, having progressed through the firm starting out as trainees.
From its offices in Oxford, Banbury, Thame and London, Wellers implements a strategic training structure to support young trainees through their career into fully-fledged accounting professionals. With a focus on people, employees feel valued, trusted and recognised, allowing them to thrive and develop into leadership roles as key members of staff.
Since beginning his career at Wellers, Tom has worked with many different kinds of clients, from anaesthetists to zoologists. Similarly, Beth and Ben have worked with an array of businesses from automotive and agriculture, through to scientific research.
Christina Nawrocki, Managing Partner at Wellers, comments: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Tom, Beth and Ben into their new roles as Associates. These promotions show that we are dedicated to helping our staff progress in their career, and the training structure we have put in place to support the next generation of talent is working.
“What’s more, Tom, Beth and Ben are millennials, an age group that has been singled out as being different and challenging in the workplace. The reality is these three young professionals aren’t anomalies. Generation Y are no more challenging to work with than other age groups. It is a combination of leadership and ambition that has allowed them to establish themselves.
“These promotions are very well deserved and reward all of their hard work. We know they will continue with their fantastic contributions to the firm and play a key part in our continued growth.”
