Leon Arnold, joint national head of corporate at Freeths Oxford, added, “This volume of deal activity was partly driven by the uncertainty around potential tax increases which may have been in the budget. As a result of this clients wanted their transactions to be completed before Wednesday. The breadth, depth and energy in our corporate team enables us to deal with a high volume of transactions within a short timeframe. The team have worked very hard to deliver for our clients. We would like to thank our clients for placing their trust in Freeths.” Ten of the transactions completed were out of the Oxford office were Leon sits.
