Bringing passion and experience to an Independent Oxford Restaurant & Old-School PubOur local hostelry has been serving towns folk and visitors for over 350 years. The Plough Inn now the Plough at 38 has been on this very site for all that time.
These days we pride ourselves on serving the highest quality traditional real ale and craft beer.
Our beers and lagers are brewed locally at XT Brewery near Thame in Oxfordshire and partially in our on-site copper tanks.
Tom, Dick & Harry are our three x 1,000 litre copper tanks.
Tank Beer stored and conditioned perfectly using temperature control and carbon dioxide for freshness at every pour.
We have up to four beers specially made just for us at the Plough: Oxford Lager, Oxford IPA, Oxford Porter and Oxford Stout
