Sarah Burrows

Sarah is the founder and CEO of Children Heard and Seen, a charity supporting children with a parent in prison. The charity was set up because of her concerns in her previous role as a Local Authority Social Worker/manager that a significant number of children with a parent in prison were entering the criminal justice system, and there was a lack of provision to prevent the intergenerational cycle of offending. The support breaks this cycle.
Sarah was awarded the Prime Ministers Point of Light Award in 2017, for this work. Sarah was also listed on the Independent's "Happy List" 2017 as one of 50 people who make Britain a happier place to live and has received The Butler Trust Commendation
