Owen joined Whitley Stimpson in 2007, having qualified in taxation in 1988 in the first instance with the Inland Revenue (now HMRC) in 1988. He then studied for his professional qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Taxation whilst working at a top ten international firm, where he worked mainly for family and management owned businesses.

Owen takes great care in providing clients with peace of mind and the answers they need to allow them to run their businesses as tax efficiently as possible, whilst complying with the responsibilities.

Making Tax Digital: Is your Business Ready?

As part of the government’s initiative to make the UK’s tax system “fit for the 21st Century”, Making Tax Digital (MTD) will see all businesses submitting all of their tax and VAT information to HM Revenue & Customs quarterly using MTD-compliant software.
