Jonathan Finnerty is Managing Director of Green Unit, a sustainable, offsite construction company that designs and builds ultra-low carbon buildings for commercial, community and accommodation uses.Jonathan is passionate about the tackling the challenges of climate change through innovation and creative thinking, and strongly believes that a net zero sustainable future for Green Unit is achievable. This was Jonathan’s vision in co-founding Green Unit in 2012, and sustainability runs through the veins of the company, particularly now through a commitment to the One Planet Living framework.
Jonathan is an active member of his Oxford community, spending his time outside of Green Unit involved in environmental initiatives such as bringing a community-based EV charging infrastructure to his neighbourhood, and the installation of solar panels on municipal and school buildings.
