About

Having started out in the theatre, I have over 25 years’ experience of sustainable partnerships and a proven track record in effective strategic, operational, financial planning/ management, A skilled communicator, communicating at all levels including board level collaboration. I have been lucky enough to have worked with some brilliant people and together we have made real life differences, created amazing opportunities and outcomes for people and organisations.
My current role at Homeless Oxfordshire is possibly my most challenging yet. Homeless Oxfordshire operates in a very political landscape where the shifting sands of homelessness change almost on a daily basis. I feel immensely passionate about the amazing work we do with vulnerable people; people who are broken, at their lowest ebb and completely marginalised by society. We not only provide safety, support, a roof over peoples heads but importantly we provide the care and compassion that all human beings need to flourish and grow. We want to end homelessness not manage it!

Supporting Black Founders And Businesses

This could be a very long article as to why and how racism still exists within modern British society. I could divulge countless racist experiences I have personally had – such as being attacked by the police, or racist slurs in the workplace – but this was not the focus of my talk at the B4 One Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Talk, or this piece. Rather, the purpose is to speak to how we can tangibly contribute to seeing racial equality and equity become the institutional norm in the corporate setting.
