After graduating from the University of Leeds with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature, Anna moved to London, where she worked as a features writer for national B2C magazines and newspapers for five years. Leaving London to travel across South East Asia, she returned to freelance for a range of PR clients and media publications whilst embarking on a four-year stint as a secondary school English teacher.
After realising she missed creating content as her full-time role (hey, you don’t choose the content life – it chooses you) Anna joined an international retail technology company, where she developed and implemented their PR and communications strategy. Whilst there, she also expanded on her marketing knowledge, gaining her CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing.
Outside of the office, Anna can either be found attending a pub quiz, planning her next trip away, “curating”/adding to her (already quite full) wardrobe or perhaps with a glass of something sparkling in her hand.
