XIST2 Deliver RMSGC a Website On Par With The Club
XIST2 was commissioned to take the Club through a brand evolution, with a view to contemporising the RMSGC brand, without leaving behind the rich heritage of the club.
Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club
The Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club is a Private Members’ Club in Richmond, Surrey, with 36 holes to test golfers of any standard. Established in 1892, the Club is steeped in history and has some fantastic credentials.
Our role
XIST2 was commissioned to take the Club through a brand evolution, with a view to contemporising the RMSGC brand, without leaving behind the rich heritage of the club. This involved our team really getting to the heart of what the club stands for, its core values and the brand and image it wants to reflect. We also wanted to ensure the brand remained true and consistent into the future, so we created a robust brand manual.
XIST2 was also asked to redesign and rebuild the RMSGC website. The Club’s old website was not performing as the sophisticated, online marketing tool needed, nor was it offering the flexibility they required. We focused on completely overhauling the user interface and user experience to reflect the premium, exclusive experience provided at the Club. Equally, the website needed to have a smooth integration with the Intelligent Golf membership management platform, used by many clubs across the UK.
The old website was not optimised for search engines, therefore we completed extensive keyword research to match relevant search terms to content and steer the creation of new content. A key objective was maximising visibility online to drive traffic, brand awareness and membership enquiries.
