Homecare franchise network Walfinch has been named as a finalist in the ‘Homecare’ category at the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards 2022, which celebrates excellence across the healthcare sector.

The LaingBuisson Awards honours businesses that have set new quality standards in social care, clinical services and in associated advisory, property and financial roles. In its 17th year of recognising excellence, the awards are judged independently and objectively and focus on the people providing the care as well as their advisors. The judges received a record 649 entries for the 2022 scheme, adding further credibility to the shortlisting for Walfinch.

The ‘Homecare’ category recognises excellence in the provision of personal care or healthcare in a home setting, with a focus on innovation and/or higher acuity services.

Amrit Dhaliwal, CEO of Walfinch

“I am extremely proud for Walfinch to be on the shortlist for the 2022 LaingBuisson Awards. Having launched our first branch in late 2019, we have made great strides. Today we support people across the country from 26 franchise branches.

“My focus is on providing quality, premium care but importantly in an environment where our carers feel valued. I believe that if our carers are happy, fulfilled and feel supported, it results in a far better service. This energy then extends to our clients. I am delighted our efforts in delivering a modernised, quality service has been recognised by the judges. I am looking forward to the awards evening.”

An estimated 950,000 people receive home-based care services from around 10,000 providers. Demands for domiciliary care continue to increase, and Walfinch continues to innovate and expand its network to deliver quality home-based care to help people maintain independence and receive the care they need in the comfort of their own homes.

Winners of the LaingBuisson Awards 2022 will be announced on 17 November 2022. Announced at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London.
