Tom Barton, director at VSL says: “We continue to see science and technology companies fueling demand for space in Oxfordshire, particularly in the industrial sector where flexible building design helps these fast moving businesses to react to changing markets and growth plans. Oxford PV and Vicon are prime examples of these types of businesses and needed R&D and additional manufacturing space to continue their growth strategy. The Oxford Industrial Park was able to provide such space and we wish them continued success.
“These deals reflect the continued strength of the science and technology sector, which represented 36% of entire Industrial take up in 2016 and we forecast could represent 65-70% of take up this year.”
