24 January 2022, Maidenhead: Thames Valley law firm, Gardner Leader, has appointed highly experienced residential property solicitor, Angela Badcock, as a Senior Associate at the firm. Angela will be working out of the firm’s Maidenhead office.

She is a specialist conveyancing solicitor who has dealt solely with residential property matters. She has handled many and varied aspects of residential property matters throughout her 35-year career, including sales and purchases, remortgages, lifetime mortgages and equity releases.

Angela has extensive experience of leasehold properties and has drafted, negotiated, and extended a large number of leases. She has also worked with two high street lenders assisting with their mortgage lending.

Her work highlights include refinancing a property portfolio of 56 largely leasehold flats, all of which had to complete on the same day, as well as remortgaging a property portfolio of 32 properties in six weeks.

Derek Rodgers, Managing Partner at Gardner Leader, said of Angela’s appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Angela into our residential property team. She is highly regarded for her skill, experience and exemplary and bespoke approach to property law.

“As a result of the large quantity and quality of transactions she has undertaken during her career, Angela has very strong negotiation and influencing skills and will add huge value to our property team.”

Says Angela: “I’m excited to be joining Gardner Leader, working with its 160-strong experienced and diverse team, and look forward to servicing the firm’s clients in the Thames Valley, nationally and globally.”

Gardner Leader has six branches across the South East in Windsor, Newbury, Thatcham, Maidenhead, London and Swindon.
