Service Manager, Wallingford

Monday to Friday – £25,000 – £30,000

8.30am – 5.30pm

Global CTS are working with an established and very profitable company selling high value business to business solutions. Outstanding growth has been achieved by a driven, well trained and professional workforce with future plans for growth. We are looking for a like-minded candidate from a commercial background within a B2B environment ideally with supervisor or team leader experience to join as a Service Manager. This position comes with potential to grow within the organisation.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Responsible for the smooth running of the service and logistic department with a small team to lead, dealing with B2B clients and taking ownership for any issues
Accountable for the effective coaching, leading and managing of the team
Set clear objectives and guidelines for your team and measure success accordingly
Maintain and develop customer relations with existing and new client base
Dealing with calls from client breakdowns, ensuring that SLA’s are met as well as juggling less urgent requirements
Project manage installations, dealing with engineers and coordination
Oversee engineers schedules, dealing with routing and ensuring efficiency of time and resources
Management of stock and parts control – purchasing, ordering stock and parts required for site visits by engineers
Evaluating and continuously improving all purchasing processes
Oversee the management of all stock queries from suppliers
Liaise between Directors and suppliers/manufacturers regarding any quality control issues
Management of the service and logistics operation

Skills and Experience
A self-starter with strong time management skills
Someone that embraces change
Interpersonal skills are paramount with the ability to communicate up and down the organisation
Excellent presentation skills
Line management experience is preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Commercial understanding
Customer service/ hospitality experience
