Sustainability Ecosystem Roundtable discussion with Fiona Hammans, CEO

Join B4 at Fitzharrys School for a Sustainability Ecosystem Roundtable discussion hosted by Abingdon Learning Trust

As a charitable company, public-sector funded, Abingdon Learning Trust (ALT) is a multi-academy trust formed in 2018. ALT runs three schools in Abingdon, with over 250 employees and 2000+ pupils from ages 4 to 18. All schools are Ofsted graded ‘good’.

ALT’s CEO, Fiona Hammans is opening the doors of one of their schools, Fitzharrys, to the B4 community to build relationships with our members. Fiona commented. “We are keen to work more closely with the business community, sharing solutions to common challenges (and there are many currently!) and becoming a more integrated part of the Abingdon area and its wider community.”

As one of our quarterly Sustainability Ecosystem events, Fiona will explain how ALT are embracing sustainability in many areas of the business but also explain the challenges they are facing in doing so. The students will also be represented at this event and explain the role they play in contributing to the solutions that the wider trust is implementing across its schools in terms of procurement, working practices and more.

This promises to be a fascinating opportunity for the B4 community to see how a large organisation is tackling sustainability with the support of those who we all hope will benefit the most.

This event will accommodate 25 guests.

Parking: Parking is available on-site.
