House Meet Live with Cllr Susan Brown

Come along to House Meet Live every week to meet other members, have one-to-one meetings, or simply listen to some great speakers from the world of business.

House Meet Live is a relaxed opportunity for members to come and go as they wish and hear from other members and invited guests. There are plenty of opportunities for everyone to ask questions and for members to arrange 1:1 discussions in our breakout rooms.

If you do want to ask a question or give your thoughts on a topic you can do so in two ways:

  • Put your comments or question in the chat box
  • Or use Zoom’s “raise hand” function (“clapping” or “thumbs up” will also work if you don’t have the raise hand option)

If you would like the opportunity to share your business news and updates at HML, please contact the B4 team well in advance so that we can try and include you in the running order, subject to availability.

Director, Oxford Duplication Centre

I started Oxford Duplication in 2007, after seeing a gap in the market to provide CD, DVD and USB duplication services to local musicians. This quickly became a recognised name for corporate and educational sectors.

After turning Limited in early 2013, we expanded the business to provide an audio-visual department converting consumer tapes and vinyl, corporate and educational broadcast conversions and a full archival scanning department for books, documents, large format, motion picture and photographic film. We specialise in rare book scanning, preserving the original.

Now in 2021, we are recognised in Oxfordshire and the UK, as one of the leading digitisation and archival providers. Our team, all specialists within their fields, are highly skilled and professional. It is teamwork that ensures our growing success.

We hold extensive testimonials from leading companies including University of Oxford, The Open University, Aston Martin Heritage Trust, World Heritage Archive, Morgan Heritage Trust, Blenheim Palace, Tusk Trust, Age UK, Oxfordshire County Council, B4 Business, and Kew Gardens.

I have always enjoyed a passion for both business and the media industry. My background education is in business and finance, and coupled with a competitive nature, both in business and hobby of ballroom dancing; currently ranked 2nd in the UK, you will see our business grow even further within the next few years as the advancing changes of digitisation starts to see a more online growth of orders coming in.

What is clear, is that in 2021 and beyond we will continue to see new archival formats come to the fore and also a proliferation of assets needing to be preserved for future generations, all of which will see a continued growth for the business as long as we continue to invest.
