Roy will be talking about Climate Change and the measures being taken by the estate to reach Net Zero by 2027.
Roy is the Estates Director at Blenheim and has been there for 8 years.
He is at the forefront of the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s commitment to becoming the UK’s first estate to demonstrate carbon-negative land management and aims to lead the way for other estates to protect, utilise and share the benefits of huge areas of British countryside.
His role includes overall responsibility for the Estate covering rural, farming, forestry, sporting, water production, the World Heritage parkland and gardens, let agricultural portfolio, renewables and outdoor events.
Prior to Blenheim he spent seven years at Smiths Gore (now part of Savills) as a consultant specialising in private client rural management across Southern England.
He has a degree from Reading University and spends what free time he has on the family arable and livestock farm.
Proceeds from this event support Blenheim’s Charity of the Year: SeeSaw. SeeSaw provides support for bereaved children, young people and their families in Oxfordshire.
Tickets include entry, Full English Breakfast with continental option, tea and coffee.
