One in 30 children under 18 experiences the death of a parent. Their world is changed forever and many struggle to cope. Grief may have a negative impact on emotional, psychological, educational and mental health aspects of a child’s development.
Oxfordshire charity SeeSaw has been working with grieving children, young people and their families since 2000. SeeSaw’s service includes tailored grief face to face support for children, guidance and support to families before and after a major bereavement, advice and training to professionals and accessible literature and resources.
