Dear colleague

I am writing to you as one of our valuable “gateway partners” to the local business community and I need to seek your support once again in helping disseminate some important information to businesses within your network.

The Director of Public Health for Oxfordshire, Ansaf Azhar, is sending a letter to businesses in Oxfordshire containing a very important and positive message. He is letting business leaders and owners within Oxfordshire know about the availability, in both workplace and community settings, of free rapid COVID-19 testing for workers without any symptoms of the virus. This letter both reinforces and complements the briefer message on workplace testing availability that my team shared with you last week.

Regular testing is an important tool to help us stop the spread of the virus in Oxfordshire. It helps identify those who are unaware that they are carrying the virus so that they can self-isolate and this then protects colleagues, customers and communities alike.

You may receive this letter from other sources, but I am keen to reinforce the message so that all businesses are fully aware of the availability of these tests, which can prove crucial in helping businesses protect their workplaces and employees.

CALL TO ACTION – Please distribute this letter to other businesses and employers throughout your networks and databases.

Thank you once again for your support – please contact the Economic Growth team at Economy@Cherwell-DC.gov.uk if you have any questions.
