City Sightseeing give rediscover Oxford campaign a school holiday boost
City Sightseeing Oxford have launched a ‘free child ticket’ as part of the #Rediscover Oxford campaign to kick-start the school holidays.
Owned by Oxford Bus Company, it is offering Oxford Mail and Oxford Times readers the chance to enjoy its open-top bus tours or a visit to Carfax Tower via a free voucher.
The #RediscoverOxford partnership spearheaded by Oxford City Council, Experience Oxfordshire, Independent Oxford, Oxford Times, Oxford Mail and Oxford Bus Company is designed to encourage people to visit the city centre and refuel the visitor economy.
Residents who cut out the free child ticket voucher from the newspaper can make use of the deal on Mondays to Fridays between July 19th and August 13th. When one adult purchases a ticket for the bus tour or Carfax tower an accompanying child aged U16 will quality for a free ticket. Please check the voucher for the full terms and conditions.
The City Sightseeing Oxford tour takes in the city’s famous sites: the Oxford Castle, Christ Church College, Magdalen Bridge, Sheldonian Theatre, and Ashmolean Museum. Carfax Tower is the highest building in Oxford City Centre and provides stunning views of the city and the surrounding countryside.
The offer builds on the success of the recent City Sightseeing Oxford #Rediscover Oxford 2for1 voucher which saw hundreds of residents enjoy tours on the open top bus this month.
Phil Southall, Oxford Bus Company Managing Director, said: “We’re proud to further support the important Rediscover Oxford campaign. It is crucial all key stakeholders continue to work together to encourage people to visit Oxford. Local day trips will be a big part of the summer holidays and we hope this offer will attract more people to the city to enjoy rediscovering Oxford.”
Oxford Bus Company are continuing to maintain an enhanced cleaning and hygiene regime across their entire fleet.
