BIO2019 to take place at MINI Plant Oxford on Thursday 6th June, 2019
Having enjoyed excellent events at Saïd Business School and The King’s Centre over the past five years, BIO is moving to a fantastic new space at MINI Plant Oxford on Thursday 6th June 2019.
As Oxfordshire’s leading business networking and showcase event, BIO has become a must attend event for Oxfordshire businesses wanting to connect and learn. Having attracted in excess of 2,000 delegates and 250 exhibitors since its launch in 2014, there’s no denying that BIO is deserving of its status.
Organised and curated annually by B4, Oxfordshire’s most trusted business network and magazine, Business in Oxford is the biggest business-networking and showcase event in the county.
Now in its 6th year, BIO2019 will bring together over 500 of the county’s business owners, leaders, entrepreneurs and executives. BIO2019 will look at how to cultivate the right behaviours and adopt proven best practices to achieve and expand commercial business success.
B4’s latest initiatives will also feature at BIO2019, with Oxfordshire Voice using the opportunity to canvass business opinion on the key issues facing Oxfordshire’s businesses. NXT, our new network for under 30’s, will also feature with guest speakers and a warm welcome to aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals.
BIO2019 will promote and deliver an engaging event where the county’s leading businesses can discover, learn, celebrate and shape the future of business in Oxfordshire together.
Founder, Richard Rosser said, “We thought long and hard about moving to a new location. We have always been warmly welcomed in the past by our hosts and it’s always a wrench to leave, but in the event space at MINI Plant Oxford we have found a superb venue and we know it will be a huge success.”
Duncan Balloch, Head of Events and Plant Tours at MINI Plant Oxford added, “BIO2019 at MINI Plant Oxford will offer business leaders from across the county the perfect forum to come together and network. We’re delighted to play host to this major event and look forward to welcoming Oxfordshire businesses to the heart and home of MINI next summer.”
Now in its 6th year, BIO has attracted a loyal following of delegates, exhibitors and sponsors.
Sue Staunton, Partner at James Cowper Kreston, who have been superb supporters of BIO, commented, “This is a great move for BIO…a great venue to showcase everything that is good about Oxfordshire. BIO has cemented itself as a regular fixture in the business calendar and this move underlines why we’re delighted to be associated.”
The Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership have supported BIO since its launch in 2014 and will once again be supporting BIO2019. Rob Panting, OxLEP’s Communications Manager, added. “OxLEP are proud sponsors of BIO and have benefited hugely from the event as it has grown over the years. Moving to MINI Plant Oxford is great news and we are looking forward immensely to 6th June. Make sure you keep the date free in your diary – this is a must attend event for all Oxfordshire businesses.”
