His work demonstrates how historic organisations can embrace cutting-edge technology while preserving the human expertise essential to caring for irreplaceable heritage assets.
David is particularly recognised for his people-first approach to AI adoption, focusing on education, transparency, and collaboration to build trust across large teams. Every interaction I have had as part of B4 has been interesting, insightful and most definitely worthwhile. We value being part of B4 enormously as it has given us so many opportunities we wouldn’t otherwise have had.
Nikki Gracey Relationships Fundraising Manager, Sobell House

Two years ago I moved from Scotland (after 27 years as adopted Scot) down to Oxfordshire. It has been a big change of new surroundings, new everything, and the slow process of finding “my people” here. I was looking for a network that feels real. Not exchanging pitches and business cards at every opportunity but good conversations, interesting people with different stories, and an atmosphere where everyone is there to support each other and add value. Meeting Richard Rosser and discovering B4 felt like finding that group of people. This is networking done right. A few generous invites to "sample" the atmosphere from Richard made the decision very easy. I’m really pleased to to be joining B4 and be part of it, and looking forward to both contributing and learning from the people I meet along the way. I have already met some brilliant folks.
Mark Zwinderman Founder, Zwinderman Consulting Ltd – The Moonshot Factory

I had a truly enriching experience working with B4 as part of the Events Team for the Oxfordshire Business Summit. Tina and Richard were incredibly supportive throughout, and I would honestly describe them as mentors rather than just managers. As a Team Leader at OBS2025, I experienced first-hand what it means to take initiative and lead with confidence, and B4 played a foundational role in helping me develop these skills. Although I was a student at the time, Tina and Richard never made me feel that my opinions didn’t matter. Instead, they created a genuinely safe and inclusive space where ideas were welcomed, and a strong sense of belonging was fostered. During the Oxfordshire Business Summit, I also saw the significant role B4 plays in bringing the local Oxfordshire community together, encouraging open conversations around pressing issues and driving collective action to create real impact. Engaging with B4 has been incredibly motivating for me. I was given the opportunity to deepen my understanding of events management and to help deliver a large-scale event at such a prestigious venue as Blenheim Palace. Most importantly, I was made to feel valued, something that can be rare when you are a student surrounded by industry professionals. I am extremely grateful to B4 for building my confidence and supporting me on my journey towards becoming a successful events manager.
Isha Lakhani Final Year BA Events Management Student, Oxford Brookes University

B4 has been instrumental in the growth of my business for years, but in 2026, as we undergo a significant brand transformation, their support has been truly second to none. From high-level expert advice to hands-on practical support, the community has proven time and again that they are there for you through every transition. Being a business owner can be a lonely path, but B4 provides that essential sounding board—and sometimes just the ear you need to moan to! The cherry on the cake is always the events; connecting in first-class locations like Blenheim Palace or Keble College is the perfect excuse to put a nice dress on and celebrate our local community. Richard and Tina, you are a credit to Oxfordshire and a vital part of my business journey. Keep up the incredible work!
Helen Fallon Owner/MD, Helen Fallon Consulting

What I value most about B4 is the sense of collaboration and shared responsibility. It’s not just about individual business growth - it’s about supporting each other and giving something back to the Oxfordshire community. The events create space for honest conversations with people who genuinely care, and the charity work, especially Raise, makes you feel part of something that goes beyond your own business.
Caroline O’Connor Director, Fourth Born

From its launch in 2006, B4 has matured and grown impressively and 20 years later it now represents a vital part of the business community within and across Oxfordshire - providing real connections with places and with people - and providing a real sense of belonging within the real-world business community. It has been inspiring to see how Richard has driven B4 forward over the last two decades and to now be part of a thriving values-driven community where everyone feels connected, valued and supported. It is a unique member community - and I would encourage all existing members to make full use of the extensive events and connections that are available to them each month - and, if you haven’t yet joined and if you are considering membership, then I would encourage you to join and to immerse yourself into this thriving community. Well done to B4 on reaching 20 years - a significant milestone - and good luck for the onward journey ahead!

B4 is a supportive and well-connected business community that brings together owners, managers and CEOs across Oxfordshire. Through the networking dinners held at our restaurant at The Yurt at Nicholsons, B4 has supported us while also connecting us with some of the area’s best business minds. I’ve known Richard for several years personally, and his open, helpful approach reflects the wider B4 ethos — focused on genuine relationships and mutual support which is great to see in this day and age!
Andrew Carr Head Chef at Michelin Guide listed and AA rosette, The Yurt at Nicholsons

B4 is a well connected business community built on relationships and open conversation. The quality of its members and the emphasis on meeting in person creates an environment where people connect easily and relationships develop naturally over time. We’ve enjoyed hosting a number of B4 events over the years and look forward to continuing to work closely with the community. Oxfordshire has an exceptional breadth of talent and enterprise, and B4 plays a vital role in bringing people together across sectors.
Norman Meyer Head of Conference and Events, Rhodes House

B4 gives Blenheim a window onto the local business community, not just to project us and what we do but also to find out what is happening out there. The B4 team are great at opening Blenheim’s eyes to opportunities we wouldn’t otherwise get to hear about and we always enjoy hosting the B4 Members at annual Platinum events including the black tie dinner in the saloon.
Dominic Hare Chief Executive Officer, Blenheim

B4 has been a valuable part of my journey in becoming a better manager and connecting with leaders from other industries in the local area. I particularly enjoy the People Ecosystem meetings, where we’re able to discuss current challenges in a safe, supportive environment. These sessions are complemented by fantastic guest speakers who share real, lived experience and offer practical, invaluable advice on how to manage teams effectively and keep employees happy. As a business owner, this has been incredibly beneficial. The venues we meet at - such as Rhodes House, Nicholsons, and Blenheim Palace - are an added bonus. Being able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Oxford during a working day makes each event something I genuinely look forward to.
Becky Hodgson Director and Studio Manager, Hall Personal Training

B4 has been a valued part of my business network for many years. Richard and his team consistently deliver excellent events while bringing together a group of like-minded, focused professionals, creating a truly supportive business community.
Greg Barnes Managing Director (Letting & Management), Breckon & Breckon

I have made so many wonderful connections through B4! Attending their events are always an absolute joy, they are always at the very best venues like Blenheim Palace and Rhodes house. B4 has shaped many areas of my life: from inspiring my fitness, charity work, friendships and expanding my business.
Natalie Jezzard-Bedwell Professional Photographer, Natalie Jezzard Photography

After 25 years working as a property solicitor in the City of London, I decided to relocate to Oxford and, at the same time, open a legal Oxford office. I opened the office in March 2025 and, as I was not originally from Oxford and most of my existing clients were London based, I gave careful thought to how best to meet people locally. From the outset, I knew I wanted to work with people I could also get to know on a social level. I was recommended B4 by a leading Oxford surveyor, who told me there was very few people in Oxford that Richard Rosser did not know. On that recommendation, I attended one of B4’s breakfast events at Blenheim Palace, where I met an excellent group of people from across the Oxford business community. It was immediately clear that B4 offered something special, and I decided to join. Since then, I have enjoyed a wide range of events, from informal lunches to black-tie occasions, as well as formal discussion groups covering different aspects of the Oxford and the wider economic community. The people I have met through B4 have been leading business figures, and, just as importantly, genuinely friendly and supportive individuals who are keen to help one another.
Simon Robinson Partner, Nexa Law

I really value the connections built at the events put on by Richard and the B4 team. They know how to put-on high-quality events curated with interesting people from a wide range of businesses, all working towards shared success in the region. It is good to share intelligence, tips and business within the B4 community, and use it as a means of deepening ones little black book of contacts.
Penny Rinta-Suksi Partner, Blake Morgan LLP

I particularly appreciate the Impact Sessions and learning from others’ expertise and experience. These are also great opportunities to connect with like-minded people and share live challenges, hear others’ perspectives and gain practical advice.
Charlotte Harris Associate Director of People, Communications and Events, NICHOLSONS

B4 is a natural place for me to be part of the local business community because Oxfordshire has always been home and where I base my business. Through my membership I’ve met so many likeminded people from almost every business sector. I particularly enjoy the Eco Round Table events which are very thought provoking and because they are always conducted in a safe environment and in an open and honest way problems are solved and everyone learns. The more social events, be it lunch or evening gatherings at prestigious locations help you build long term relationships. I always help first with the work I do and that is the way B4 operates and that abundance minded approach is something I most certainly connect with.
Paul Horseman Owner, BOS Implementers Ltd

As a charity member of B4, Connection Support appreciates B4's energy and collaborative approach in providing opportunities to raise our profile, link with like-minded organisations, and raise vital funds for our work

Working with B4, Richard and Tina has been nothing short of exceptional. They are professional, caring and genuinely kind. An incredible combination that makes every interaction memorable. Their passion for Oxford, their members and everyone in between shines through in all that they do. Richard and Tina bring an infectious enthusiasm to every project, and their unwavering encouragement has been invaluable. Their network and connections across the region are truly remarkable, opening doors and creating opportunities that simply wouldn’t exist without them. We are forever grateful for their support, their partnership, and their belief in what we do. We can’t wait to continue working closely together and seeing what we can achieve next.
