Established in 1857, the company became a major lighting manufacturer in the mid 1930’s, based in Iserlohn, Germany. Surviving wars and economic downturns, the business has focused on high performance, energy efficient and sustainable lighting since the early 1980’s; long before the current green trends. It’s fair to say that WILA is, and has been a leader in this area, and will continue to be, for the foreseeable future.
